Please have your four prints of your four negatives ready to critique. The prints need to look tonally similar (like they belong to the same family). Have please place them in the hallway flanking the gallery in the PAC. Right side - where the photo 4 students have their work. Just on the other side. When hanging them - please hang in the straight line and think about how they read from left to right and place your artist statement on the left side of the prints. On the artist statement - talk about your interpretation of surrealism. Why did you use the props you did and shoot it the way you did. Move the top margin down to 3 inch mark on the paper. Title of the series / 13 pt in Bold, garamond. Start with the paragraph, 11 pt, garamond, no indent on the paragraphs use a double space if you are having more than one paragraph. Double space, your name in italics, year, 11 pt, garamond. Have these printed and up with the work.
We will discuss your test shots in class. Think about the story that you want to explore. Can be a direct interpretation or a abstracted one (aka fashion shoots). Please meet in class first and then we will walk over to the PAC to critique after a short lecture over the story concept.
